• Welcome to the South Novato Library, the newest branch in Marin County, located in Hamilton's Hangar 6.
• The Library opened here in June 2004, having relocated from Pacheco Plaza in Ignacio, where it had been established in 1998. These hangars served as part of the Hamilton Air Force Base, and have been remodeled today to house a number of businesses, the Marin Community Foundation and the YMCA.
• Come and enjoy our beautiful, modern branch with free wi-fi access, bi-monthly crafts, storytimes and monthly book club, as well as exciting events for all ages.

• 9 public computers for adults & teens
• 3 public computers for children
• Computer reservations are recommended but often not necessary. Reservations can be made online or at the branch.
• Wi-fi access is available throughout the branch.

Printers & Copiers

• B&W (.15/page) & color (1.00/page) printer
• 1 copy machine (B&W only) (.15/copy)
• No fax machine

Accessibility

• Handicapped parking spaces.
• Accessible restrooms.
• Accessible self-check machine and book return.

Meeting Room/ Study Space

• South Novato Library does not have public meeting rooms.
• One "first-come, first-served" study room is available when not in use by Marin Literacy Foundation.
• We do have public study tables that can be used by tutors & students. Tutor policy. 

Donating Books & Materials

• We accept small quantities of donations at the branch (due to limited storage space). Please call ahead.
• Larger donations can be taken to the bookstore run by the Friends – Book Place.
• Books should be in good condition. We also accept DVDs, videos, CDs and magazines.
• We do not accept textbooks. (The Friends do not accept textbooks or magazines).
• Donated items are usually sold at the branch or at the Friends bookstore.
